Veterinary medicine is currently undergoing a change that particularly affects equine reproductive medicine in the balancing act between seasonal, labor-intensive work, the Working Hours Act, lower coverage numbers and business management. The aim of ReproTraining is to meet these growing challenges in equine reproductive medicine with the provision of a strong national and international network.

Within this network, important connections between university, industry partners and practitioners will be created. At the same time working relationships between practices and clinics will be strengthened and contact with horse breeders and stakeholders in equestrian sports will be promoted.

The attractiveness and satisfaction of a career in equine reproductive practice will be increased with specialist support, collegial exchange, advanced training, placement of motivated young professionals, personal development and team strengthening.
